A pair of John Belushi’s sunglasses worn while he was on the Blue Brothers Tour. The Blues Brothers group was comprised of John Belushi and Dan Akroyd who frequently toured around the world. In 1978, the group released their debut album titled, “Briefcase Full of Blues “which garnered widespread attention and was also helped by the release of the 1980 film, The Blues Brothers.
The Ray-Ban sunglasses are comprised of a black frame and black lenses, with a silver circle detail just on the edges of the frame near the lenses. The glasses remain in excellent condition, with minor wear. Accompanying this pair of glasses is a letter from Paul Boren who acquired the glasses while he was working on the Blues Brothers Tour, and a Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions.
