The iconic brass balls wielded by Blake (Alec Baldwin) in James Foley's Glengarry Glen Ross. When an office full of New York City real estate salesmen is given the news that all but the top two will be fired at the end of the week, the atmosphere begins to heat up. Shelley Levene (Jack Lemmon), who has a sick daughter, does everything in his power to get better leads from his boss, John Williamson (Kevin Spacey), but to no avail. When his coworker Dave Moss (Ed Harris) comes up with a plan to steal the leads, things get complicated for the tough-talking salesmen. Featured in the memorable "Always Be Closing" scene. Blake, a character introduced in the film adaptation of David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, used these solid, hand-forged brass balls to admonish his fellow real estate salesmen for their lackluster sales performance. Bearing signs of aging such as discoloration, tarnishing, and minor scuffs, hang from a metal snake chain with a central cinching clasp. The dimensions of the brass balls are 10.25 cm x 20.5 cm x 5 cm (4" x 9" x 2"). This lot comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions.
