Original suit vest worn by the character of Thomas Crown (Steve McQueen) in the classic 1968 film The Thomas Crown Affair. Bored millionaire Thomas Crown (Steve McQueen) concocts and executes a brilliant scheme to rob a bank without having to do any of the work himself. When Vicki Anderson, an investigator for the bank's insurance company, takes an interest in Crown, the two begin a complicated cat-and-mouse game with a romantic undertone. This navy blue suit vest without lapels was worn by McQueen in various scenes in the film and features a button up front with two check pockets. The vest features a Western Costume Company typed label stating ‘2200 – 1/Steve McQueen/chest 41 ½’. The vest also has a Western Costume Company Stamp #27 placed near the Western Costume Company label. This piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions.
